In accordance with section 220 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, I, Sharon Thompson, give notice that I have amended exemption HS2207 granted to the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand on 27 August 2024 in relation to the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017 and the storage of explosive substances.

The amendment specifies a new position for the storage location identified as Location D in the Notice of Exemption.

The amendment to exemption HS2207 takes effect on 9 January 2025 and expires on 30 August 2029 unless it is replaced sooner or revoked.
