Under section 137(1) of the Civil Aviation Act 2023, having regard to the main and additional purposes of the Civil Aviation Act 2023 and after consultation with any person who already holds an aviation document entitling the person to provide aviation security services at a security designated aerodrome or security designated navigation installation, I James Meager, Acting Minister of Transport, specify that only the Aviation Security Service may provide aviation security services at a security designated aerodrome or security designated navigation installation.
