Notice of Appointment of Receivers

Pursuant to Section 8(1) of the Receiverships Act 1993

Notice is hereby given that on 14 July 2025, Jessica Jane Kellow and Iain Bruce Shephard, Licensed Insolvency Practitioners of BDO Wellington (Registration Numbers: IP75 and IP71, respectively), were appointed as joint and several receivers and managers of the entities by the Bank of New Zealand under the powers contained in the following security agreements:

1. General security agreements in respect of each of the Entities dated 26 November 2014; and
2. In respect of SETTLERS HONEY LIMITED (in receivership), an additional specific security deed dated 28 November 2014.

The property in receivership is as follows:

SETTLERS HONEY LIMITED (in receivership)

• All present and after-acquired property
• All present and after-acquired bee colonies, beehives and lids, including all honey found in and derived from such hives and lids

MAKOWHAI TRUST (in receivership)

• All present and after-acquired property held by the trustees as trustees of the Trust as well as any right of the trustees to be indemnified out of such property (and any proceeds of such indemnity)

HENRY RAYMOND MATTHEWS (trading as H R Matthews) (in receivership)

• All present and after-acquired property, and all personal property in which the grantor has rights, whether now or in the future, except for any of the grantor’s goods that are used or acquired for use solely for personal, domestic or household purposes.
