Fees Payable to Te Kaunihera Pūtaiao Hauora O Aotearoa | The Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand from 12 February 2025 for the Profession of Anaesthetic Technology

Pursuant to sections 130 to 133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, Te Kaunihera Pūtaiao Hauora O Aotearoa | The Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand, gives notice the following fees are payable effective from 12 February 2025.

Commencement

This notice comes into effect on 12 February 2025 and on that date revokes and replaces all previous Fees Notices payable to Te Kaunihera Pūtaiao Hauora O Aotearoa | The Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand for the profession of Anaesthetic Technology.

All fees charged by the Council are non-refundable.

All fees are in New Zealand dollars and the GST rate is 15%.

Accreditation and Monitoring Fees

The Council does not set a standard fee for carrying out an accreditation or monitoring review of a New Zealand education provider, or examination provider, but will instead issue an itemised invoice for reimbursement of costs associated with the accreditation or monitoring review. All such invoices are calculated on a cost-recovery basis only.

* The fee for a ‘first’ practising certificate is available between 1 December and 31 March each year and is applicable to practitioners applying for their first practising certificate.

* The Disciplinary levy is for 12 months.
