The Environmental Protection Authority (“EPA”) issues this notice pursuant to section 96B in accordance with section 96C(3) of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996.

1. Title

This notice is the Group Standards (Amendment) Notice 2024.

2. Commencement

This notice comes into force on 14 November 2024.

3. Straight-chained Lepidopteran Sex Pheromone Group Standard 2020 amended

In Schedule 2 of the Straight-chained Lepidopteran Sex Pheromone Group Standard 2020, delete the second (and duplicate) definition of “aerosol”.

4. Veterinary Medicines (Limited Pack Size, Finished Dose) Group Standard 2020 amended

At clause 1 of Schedule 1 of the Veterinary Medicines (Limited Pack Size, Finished Dose) Group Standard 2020, delete subclause (5) and replace with:

“(5) A person who relies on clauses 31 or 32 of the Notice must still comply with:

(a) clause 16 of the Notice; and

(b) subclause (3)(a); and

(c) subclause (3)(b)(i).”

This notice and the amended group standards may be inspected free of charge during normal business hours at the EPA office, purchased from the EPA, or viewed at www.epa.govt.nz.
