Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and section 22AB of the Land Transport Act 1998, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

1. Title and Commencement

This bylaw is the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2024/001 and will come into force on 31 July 2024.

2. Amendments

The New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14* is hereby amended by:

• Inserting line 6R in Schedule 4, Part G to read:

“Line No.: 6R
SH No.: 6
Locality: Lowburn
From: NZTM 1301804, 5009556; approximately 256m north-east of its intersection with Lowburn Valley Road
To: NZTM 1301220.4213, 5008418.5044; approximately 1044m south-west of its intersection with Lowburn Valley Road
Route Position (Midpoint): 0938/0.650
Direction of travel: Both direction of travel.
Side of Road: Both sides of road
Restriction: No Stopping.
Time period: At all times.”

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the bylaw but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This bylaw will come into force on 31 July 2024 and will amend the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14*.
