I hereby give notice that, under section 9I of the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance 2003, the Responsible Lending Code (“Code”) was replaced on Tuesday 2 July 2024.

The new version of the Code will come into force on 31 July 2024. Until this date, the previous version of the Code remains in force, available here: https://www.mbie.govt.nz/dmsdocument/26304-responsible-lending-code-april-2023.

The new Code is available on the website of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment at: https://www.mbie.govt.nz/dmsdocument/28548-responsible-lending-code-july-2024.
