Betting Rules Amendment Notice (No.2) 2024
Pursuant to sections 76 and 78 of the Racing Industry Act 2020, TAB New Zealand hereby gives notice of the following amendments to the Betting Rules published as a Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 30 April 2024, Notice No. 2024-sl1731.

These amendments to the Betting Rules are as follows:
34. Soccer Football

1.2 For all North American Sports and Soccer Football, unless otherwise specified all
matches/races must be played in the scheduled day.

1.7 …Bets on all markets which have been unconditionally determined will stand, for example in Soccer Football, First Goal Scorer bets will stand if a goal has been scored.

1.3 Abandoned matches
…Bets on all markets which have been unconditionally determined will stand, for example in Soccer Football, First Goal Scorer bets will stand if a goal has been scored.
1.9 Related bets

1.10 Results
In the case of soccer Football and other sports, bets are settled on the first result published
by the official source/governing body or alternatively the official website of the relevant
event, immediately after the match/event is finished.
6. Baseball

6.20 Live Bets Placed on Baseball
The baseball match must go the full scheduled length for bets to stand on all markets – 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is ahead) for scheduled 9 inning games, or to 7 innings (6 ½ if the home team is ahead) for scheduled 7 innings games. If the game is called before this time, then all bets on all markets will be void, except for those that have been unconditionally determined.
34. Soccer Football

34.8 How will my soccer Football bet on a cup tie be settled?
All Soccer Football bets will be settled on 90 minutes play (also referred to as normal time).
These Rules come into force on 13 May 2024.
