Approved on 17 April 2024 and established under sections 88 and 89 of the Natural Hazards Insurance Act 2023 by Hon David Seymour, Associate Minister of Finance, the Code is administered by the Toka Tū Ake – Natural Hazards Commission. The Code will be published on the Natural Hazards Commission website. The Code is secondary legislation for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2019.
