Notice of Amendment Under the Veterans’ Support Act 2014 of Thirteen Statements of Principles
1. Pursuant to section 24 of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014, the Minister for Veterans gives notice of the amendment of thirteen Statements of Principles under the Veterans’ Support Regulations 2014.
2. The amendments are:
cervical intervertebral disc prolapse (29/2024 and 30/2024, to be read as compiled with 66/2023 and 67/2023)
cut, stab, abrasion and laceration (15/2024 and 16/2024, to be read as compiled with 53/2016 and 54/2016)
electrical injury (13/2024 and 14/2024, to be read as compiled with 41/2018 and 42/2018).
3. Amendments are also being made to the reasonable hypothesis version of Statements of Principles as listed below:
Hodgkin lymphoma (27/2024, to be read as compiled with 70/2023)
malignant neoplasm of the larynx (27/2024, to be read as compiled with 41/2022)
malignant neoplasm of the lung (27/2024, to be read as compiled with 86/2023)
malignant neoplasm of the prostate (27/2024, to be read as compiled with 3/2023)
myeloma (27/2024, to be read as compiled with 95/2021)
non-Hodgkin lymphoma (27/2024, to be read as compiled with 90/2018)
soft tissue sarcoma (27/2024 to be read as compiled with 76/2023).
4. The amendments take effect on 9 May 2024.
5. These amended Statements of Principles are available on the website of the Australian Government Repatriation Medical Authority www.rma.gov.au.
