Notice is given under section 161(1) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of the following application for a record of title based on adverse possession made under section 155 of the Act.

Application 12973571.1 by Wayne Raymond Bungard and Rebecca Jane Bungard c/- Smith, Wood & Woods, Barristers & Solicitors, 15 Mersey Street, Gore 9740, (PO Box 18, Gore 9740) for land at Clifford Street between Pomona Street and Halsey Street, being 2023 square metres more or less and being Sections 5 and 7 Block XV Town of Clinton in Record of Title OT265/192 in the Otago Land Registration District owned by Minnie Amelia Hackett. The applicants claim to have been in continuous and undisputed possession of the land for 29 years.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted before 15 January 2025. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.
