Land Transfer Act 2017 Notice
Notice is given under section 161(1) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of the following application for a record of title based on adverse possession made under section 155 of the Act.
Application 12598810.1 by Sheryl Ruth Braddick, c/- Chris Jones, JMJ Lawyers Limited, 177 Evans Street, Timaru 7910 for land adjoining to the South East boundary of 9 Perambulator Lane, Kimbell, Fairlie being 0.2023 hectares more or less being Lot 1 on Land Transfer plan 588989 in the Canterbury Land Registration District and being Lot 51 DP 269 in Record of Title CB91/33 owned by Robert Seadown Nicholson. The applicant claims to have been in continuous and undisputed possession of the land for more than 45 years.
A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted before 11 November 2024. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.
