Notice of a Discontinued Official Geographic Name
Pursuant to sections 10(1)(d), 24 and 21(2) of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008 the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) gives notice of the discontinued official geographic name described in the schedule below.
The name relates to a geographic feature type that the Board no longer has naming jurisdiction for, therefore it should not be an official geographic name.
The Board’s final determination on this discontinued official geographic name took effect on 15 November 2024.
