Notice of Intention to Take Land for Water Reservoirs in Warkworth
Notice is hereby given that Watercare Services Limited (“Watercare”), being a local authority for the purposes of the Public Works Act 1981 (PWA) by virtue of section 60 of the Local Government (Auckland Council) Act 2009, proposes to take under the provisions of section 23 of the PWA, the land described in the Schedule of this notice (“Land”).
The Land is required for the construction and operation of water reservoirs and Watercare intends to use the Land for the continued storage and supply of water to the surrounding areas.
The owner of the Land and those persons with a registered interest in it have been served with notice of Watercare’s intention to take the Land and have been advised of their right to object.
Any other person having the right to object may send a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, within 20 working days after publication of this notice.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held. The objector will have the right to appear and be heard personally unless the objector otherwise requires. Each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.

The Land is located at 122 Goatley Road, Warkworth 0985.
The Land is that part of Lot 3 Deposited Plan 199755, comprised in Record of Title 909534, being 0.5000 hectares, more or less, shown as section 1 on Survey Office Plan 609153.
