Pursuant to sections 73 and 84 of the Hineuru Claims Settlement Act 2016, sections 108, 133, 169(5) and 169(6) of the Ngāti Kōata, Ngāti Rārua, Ngāti Tama ki Te Tau Ihu, and Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui Claims Settlement Act 2014, and sections 63 and 73 of the Te Atiawa Claims Settlement Act 2016, the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) gives notice of four discontinued Crown protected area (CPA) names as described in the Schedule below.
