In the notice with the above title, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 11 January 2024, Notice No. 2024-gs122, replace:

“Pursuant to sections 130 and 133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the Medical Sciences Council gives notice the following fees are payable effective from 12 February 2024”.

With:

“Pursuant to sections 130 to 132 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the Medical Sciences Council gives notice the following fees are payable effective from 12 February 2024”

Replace:

“*The fee for a ‘first APC’ is payable by those applicants who have completed an accredited programme of education”.

With:

“*The fee for a ‘first’ practising certificate is available between 1 December and 31 March each year and is applicable to practitioners applying for their first practising certificate, and for practitioners returning to the workforce who did not hold a practising certificate during the previous practising year”.
