Pursuant to section 68 of the Civil Defence Emergency Act 2002 I, Jules Radich, declare that a state of emergency exists in the Dunedin City, Otago owing to Heavy Rain Event – Red Warning.

The state of emergency can come into force immediately on the making of this declaration and expires 7 days after the time and date on which it comes into force (unless extended or terminated at an earlier time).
