Pursuant to section 94D of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Nadine Patricia Taylor, extend the local transition period over Marlborough Sounds Ward owing to the cumulative impacts of the severe weather events during August 2022.

This extension of the transition period:

1. comes into force immediately before 4.30pm on 5 April 2024, which is the time and date when the current transition period expires;
2. is in force for 28 days, and
3. ends at 4.30pm on 3 May 2024 unless terminated or further extended earlier.
