Under the provisions of Clause 23 of the Pork Industry Board Regulations 1999, notice is hereby given of the forthcoming election for two producer representative Directors in Region 3 on the New Zealand Pork Industry Board for the period until 31 July 2027.

Helen Andrews and Jason Palmer have both advised that they are willing to be re-nominated for a further term on the Board.

New Zealand Pork is now calling for nominations.

Registered producers wishing to make a nomination have up until 12.00pm noon on 26 April 2024 to submit their nomination.

To nominate and second a director, a farmer must be registered for the region in which the election is taking place, however, the person being nominated does not need to reside in that region, nor do they need to be a farmer.

The roll for eligible voters will be available for inspection from 6 May 2024 until 13 May 2024 at the office of the New Zealand Pork Industry Board, Unit 2A / 9 Sir Gil Simpson Drive, Burnside, Christchurch.

The closing date for receipt of voting papers is 12.00pm noon on 24 May 2024 and the results will be sent out on 27 May 2024.
