Fees Payable to Te Poari Ringa Hangarau Iraruke | New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board from 12 February 2024

Pursuant to sections 130 and 133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board gives notice the following fees are payable effective from 12 February 2024.

Commencement

This notice comes into effect on 12 February 2024. From that date, the following notice is revoked: Fees Payable to the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board from 1 February 2022 (New Zealand Gazette, 17 December 2021, Notice No. 2021-gs5444).

All fees charged by the Board are non-refundable.

All fees are in New Zealand dollars and the GST rate is 15%.

Accreditation and Monitoring Fees

The Board does not set a standard fee for carrying out an accreditation review of a New Zealand education provider, or examination provider, but will instead issue an itemised invoice for reimbursement of costs associated with the accreditation review. All such invoices are calculated on a cost-recovery basis only.

* Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997

* An initial APC or RTW APC will be issued up until 31 March. Please note, this APC fee is only available for those applying for an initial APC, or for those returning to practice after a period of time away from practice.

* The fee for a ‘first APC’ is payable by those applicants who have completed an accredited programme of education.

* The disciplinary levy is for a 12-month period.
