In accordance with section 152A(4) and 161(3) of the Land Transport Act 1998 (as these sections applied before 28 October 2021), notification is hereby given of the making of Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits Amendment 2024 (“Rule”).

The objective of the Rule is to amend Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2024 to bring two additional classes of road (as defined in Schedule 3 of the Principal Rule) within the transitional provisions in Schedule 2 of the Principal Rule.

The Rule comes into force on 15 January 2025.
