Notice of Payment into Victims’ Claims Trust Account
A compensation payment has been made to Bronwyn Warwick aka Brian Baird; Brian Damon Baird; Robyn Roger Blacey; David William Gibbs; John Hanseon, Peter Chalmers Jackson; Barrie Alam Liepiek; Derek Miles O’Connor; Derek Myles O’Connor; Ryan Oakes; Warren Rose; Stanley Warwick Ryan; Gary Thornbury; John Allan Vozzo; Brian Ronald Warrick, Brian Ronald Warwick; Brinwyn Racael Warwick; Brionwyn Racael Warwick; Bronwyn Racael Warwick; Bronwyn Rachael Warwick; Bronwyn Rachel Warwick and Ronald James Warwick in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (“Act”).
The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Bronwyn Warwick to make claims against it.
Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Bronwyn Warwick.
On 4 December 2024, $5,000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Bronwyn Warwick.
The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Bronwyn Warwick until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.
Any person who has been a victim of Bronwyn Warwick, in respect of an offence for which Bronwyn Warwick was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Bronwyn Warwick
Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.
