Notice of Payment into Victims’ Claims Trust Account
A compensation payment has been made to David Harold Panapa; Johnathon Harold Johnson in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (“Act”).
The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of David Harold Panapa; Johnathon Harold Johnson to make claims against it.
Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to David Harold Panapa; Johnathon Harold Johnson.
On 19 August 2024, $10.000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of David Harold Panapa; Johnathon Harold Johnson.
The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for David Harold Panapa; Johnathon Harold Johnson until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.
Any person who has been a victim of David Harold Panapa; Johnathon Harold Johnson, in respect of an offence for which David Harold Panapa; Johnathon Harold Johnson was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of David Harold Panapa; Johnathon Harold Johnson.
Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.
