Pursuant to section 115(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 and in accordance with section 2 of the Earthquake Commission Act 1993:

1. The Direction to Earthquake Commission dated 21 October 2019, as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1 November 2019, Notice No. 2019-go5031 (relating to acting as agent for Southern Response) (“Direction”), is amended by removing the following text:
   “5. This direction expires on 21 October 2024, unless revoked earlier.”
2. All other parts of the Direction are unchanged and remain in effect.
