Pursuant to Schedule 22, clause 10 of the Education and Training Act 2020 (“Act”), I hereby split the Combined Board of St Mary’s Catholic School and Bishop Edward Gaines School and establish St Marys (Putāruru) Catholic School (1957) Board and Bishop Edward Gaines Catholic School (1607) Board with effect from 3 July 2024.

I further specify under Schedule 22, clause 13 of the Act that the residual employer of the employees of the Combined Board will be the St Mary’s School Board.
