Pursuant to section 170(5) of the Education and Training Act 2020 and acting with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I declare invalid the 8 May 2024 by-election for the parent representative for the Tinui School (3041) Board and require a new election to be held on Wednesday 24 July 2024.

I further declare that the board members holding office on 8 May 2024 remain in office.

As the by-election was triggered by a casual vacancy, the position will remain vacant until the new board members take office following the new election.

This notice takes effect the date of publication.
