Pursuant to Regulations 9(3)(b)(ii) and 9(4)(b)(ii) of the Land Transport (Clean Vehicle Standard) Regulations 2022 (“Regulations”), the Minister of Transport publishes the following.

1. Arithmetic Mean Weight

Under section 9(3)(b)(ii) of the Regulations, the arithmetic mean weight for the 2025 and 2026 obligation years under the Regulations is:

1. 1,482 kg for Type A vehicles.
2. 2,098 kg for Type B vehicles.

2. Slope of the Limit Line

Under section 9(4)(b)(ii) of the Regulations, the arithmetic mean weight for the 2025 and 2026 obligation years under the Regulations is:

1. 0.0036 for Type A vehicles.
2. 0.0526 for Type B vehicles.

3. Clean Vehicle Standard Review

The slope of the limit line for Type A vehicles may change through the Minister of Transport’s review of the Clean Vehicle Standard’s targets under section 175A of the Land Transport Act 1998. Any changes to the slope of the limit line will be notified once the Government has made decisions.
