Section 37B of the Biosecurity Act 1993

Under section 37B(1)(c) of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I vary the approval, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 22 December 2005, No. 210, page 5365, of Opua Marine Park, Bay of Islands, (located at Baffin Street, Opua Marina and Waitangi Berth) operated by Far North Holdings Limited (Company No: 849248), as a place of first arrival to receive the following craft and cargo types subject to the limitations specified:

Limitations:

Opua Marine Park is able to receive the following craft:

  • Private Recreational Vessels (Opua Marina only)
  • Commercial Passenger Vessels (Waitangi Berth only)

that are able to discharge the following cargo types:

  • Passengers, Crew and their Personal Effects
  • Live Animals (Cats and dogs to Opua Marina only)

A copy of the written notice of approval may be inspected or obtained at the Ministry for Primary Industries, Charles Fergusson Tower, 34–38 Bowen Street, Wellington.
