Pursuant to schedule 7 clause 3 of the Public Service Act 2020, the Public Service Commissioner has appointed:

Bede Gilbert Corry

to the position of Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Chief Executive, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade from 30 June 2024 to 29 June 2029, following acceptance by the Governor-General of New Zealand in Council of the Public Service Commissioner’s recommendation.
