Notice Declaring Removal and Addition Aquaculture Settlement Areas in the Eastern Bay of Plenty (Bay of Plenty Region) for the Purposes of the Māori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004 (Notice No. MPI 1806)
Pursuant to section 12 of the Māori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004, the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries gives the following notice.
(1) This notice may be cited as “Notice Declaring Removal and Addition of Aquaculture Settlement Areas in the Eastern Bay of Plenty (Bay of Plenty Region) for the Purposes of the Māori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004”.
(2) This notice comes into force on the day after it is gazetted.
Under section 12(2)(a) of the Māori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004 (“Act”) the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries declares that the whole of the three existing Aquaculture Settlement Areas in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, created by the New Zealand Gazette notice set out below, are removed as Aquaculture Settlement Areas:

Under section 12(1) of the Act the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries declares two new Aquaculture Settlement Areas in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. The boundaries of the two new Aquaculture Settlement Areas are represented by the coordinates set out below:
