Pursuant to section 32 of the Corrections Act 2004, the Minister of Corrections gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title

This notice is the Corrections (Auckland Custody Unit Police Jail) Notice 2024.

2. Commencement

This notice takes effect from 26 February 2024.

3. Auckland Custody Unit Police Jail

The land and buildings described in the Schedule are declared to be a police jail to be known as the Auckland Custody Unit.

4. Revocation

The Corrections (Auckland Custody Unit Police Jail) Notice 2017 (as notified in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 September 2017, Issue No. 100, Notice No. 2017-go5045) is revoked.

Auckland Custody Unit Police Jail

Part of the whole land in North Auckland Land District contained within Certificate of Title 552867, being Section 1 SO 516170 and that part of the building shown as Section 2 SO 516170 located on the ground floor.
