Pursuant to section 33(3) of the Privacy Act 2020, I give notice of the Privacy Commissioner’s intention to issue the Biometrics Processing Privacy Code.

The proposed Code may be inspected free of charge from the Commissioner’s website www.privacy.org.nz or a copy can be requested from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, PO Box 10094, Wellington.

Submissions on the proposed code may be made in writing to the Commissioner by any person affected by the Code or by any member of the public by 14 March 2025.
