Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and section 22AB of the Land Transport Act 1998, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

1. Title and Commencement

This bylaw is the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2024/007 and will come into force on 21 December 2024.

2. Amendments

The New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14* is hereby amended by:

• Inserting line 492A in Schedule 3, Part G to read:

“Line No.: 492A
SH No.: 1
Locality: Timaru
From: NZTM 1459786, 5084317; approximately 118m measured from the centre of the intersection of Evans Street and Newman Street
To: NZTM 1459811, 5084336; approximately 151m from the intersection of Evans Street and Newman Street
Route Position (Midpoint): 01S-0501/3.255
Direction of travel: Northbound.
Side of Road: Left
Restriction: No Stopping.
Time period: At all times.”

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the bylaw but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This bylaw will come into force on 20 December 2024 and will amend the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14*.
