Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and section 22AB of the Land Transport Act 1998, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

1. Title and Commencement

This bylaw is the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2024/005 and will come into force on 20 December 2024.

2. Amendments

The New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14* is hereby amended by:

• Inserting line 49 in Schedule 2, Part D(a) to read:

“Line No.: 49
SH No.: 16
Locality: North Western Motorway, southbound Hobsonville Road on-ramp
From: NZTM 1744065, 5923930; approximately 310m north of the Westgate-Oreil footbridge over the southbound Hobsonville Road on-ramp.
To: NZTM 1744141, 5923651; at the limit line for the ramp metering signals.
Route Position (Midpoint): 016-0007-R6
Direction of travel: Southbound.
Restriction Type: Bus Only
Time period: 6.30am–9.30am (Mon to Fri)”

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the bylaw but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This bylaw will come into force on 20 December 2024 and will amend the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14*.
