In accordance with section 223 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, Maritime New Zealand (“Maritime NZ”) gives notice that the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety, and the Associate Minister for Transport have approved the Approved Code of Practice for Loading and Unloading Cargo at Ports and on Ships.

The approved code of practice will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette and will be available on Maritime NZ’s website www.maritimenz.govt.nz.
