Pursuant to subclause 10.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Heavy Vehicle Brakes 2006 (“Rule”), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport, New Zealand Transport Agency, I, William Phillip Hyslop, Senior Engineer, Regulatory Technical Team, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule to this notice for the purpose of measuring brake performance of heavy vehicles to establish compliance with the requirements contained in the Rule.
