Notice is hereby given that the solvent liquidation of WALKINGTON INVESTMENTS LIMITED (in liquidation) commenced on 30 August 2024 at 2.30pm when the shareholders appointed Noel Allan Walton, chartered accountant, as liquidator in accordance with section 241(2)(a) of the Companies Act 1993 by the passing of a special resolution by entry in the company minute book.
A declaration signed by the directors has been lodged with the Registrar of Companies stating that in the directors’ opinion the company will be able to pay its debts in full in the 12 months after the appointment of a liquidator.
The solvent liquidation is being undertaken as part of a restructuring following the cessation of business.
Pursuant to section 243(8) of the Companies Act 1993, the liquidator is not required to call a meeting of creditors. However any creditor or claimant on this company is asked to contact the liquidator urgently. I hereby fix 4 October 2024 as the date by which any creditor or claimant is to make a claim, and to establish any priority their claim may have.
