Notice is given of the making of the following instrument by the Minister for Social Development and Employment.

This instrument, which comes into force on 13 March 2023, amends the Recoverable Assistance Programme to remove the ability for housing needs, assistance, or costs, provided under the Housing Support Programme, to be paid under the Recoverable Assistance Programme. It also revokes the Housing Support Assistance Programme. The Housing Support Programme provides for most of the housing supports from the revoked Housing Support Assistance Programme.

The instrument is secondary legislation for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2019 and is administered by the Ministry of Social Development.
