Pursuant to the Legislation Act 2019, notice is given of the issue on 24 May 2023 of the Food Notice: Food for Export – Exemptions from Domestic Compositional Requirements No. 17 2023 under the Food Act 2014 which came into force on 24 May 2023 (“Notice”).

Notice is also given under clause 8(1)(d) of Schedule 6 of the Food Act 2014 that, under sections 444 and 445, the Codex Standard for Follow-up Formula (CODEX STAN 156-1987) is incorporated by reference as a standard work of reference into the Notice.

A copy of the notice and the Codex Standard for Follow-up Formula may be inspected free of charge or purchased at a reasonable cost, at the office of the Ministry for Primary Industries, Charles Fergusson Building, 34–38 Bowen Street, Pipitea, PO Box 2526, Wellington.
