Amendment to Notice—Chinese Medicine Council (Fees) Notice 2023
Under sections 130–133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (“Act”), the Chinese Medicine Council of New Zealand (“Council”) gives notice of an amendment to the notice titled “Chinese Medicine Council (Fees) Notice 2023” published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 April 2023, Notice No. 2023-gs1565.
The 18 April 2023 notice is amended by omitting “2012” from point (2) under the “Title and commencement” section of the notice and substituting this with “2019”.
On 18 April 2023, the Council published a notice setting out the fees and levies payable for the regulation of Chinese medicine for the period to 31 March 2024 (“Chinese Medicine Council (Fees) Notice 2023”). This notice incorrectly referenced the notice as having the status of a disallowable instrument for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2012 instead of the Legislation Act 2019.
The 18 April 2023 notice is therefore being amended to correctly reference that the notice has the status of a disallowable instrument for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2019.
Dated at Wellington this 21st day of April 2023.
LINDSEY PINE, Acting Registrar, Chinese Medicine Council.
