Notice is given under section 161(1) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of the following application for a record of title based on adverse possession made under section 155 of the Act.

Application 12560482.1 by Philip Klass Vanderweg and Diane Lynley Vanderweg, c/- Argyle Welsh Finnigan, Westburn Courts, 201–203 West Street, Ashburton 7700, PO Box 454, Ashburton 7740 for land opposite 42 and 46 Maldon Street, Chertsey, being 0.2034 hectares, more or less, and being Lots 1 and 2 LT 557601 in Record of Title CB28/267 in the Canterbury Land Registration District owned by Benjamin Hale. The applicants are claiming continuous and undisputed possession of the land for 31 years.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted before 13 November 2023. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.
