Notice is given under section 161(1) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of the following application for a record of title based on adverse possession made under section 155 of the Act.

Application 12417729.1 by Gregory Robert Ross Shand, c/- Connors Legal, Barristers & Solicitors, 64 High Street, Greymouth 7805 for land at 89 Greenstone Road, Kumara being 507 m², more or less, and being Lot 1 on LT 567285 in Records of Title WS3A/475 and WS3A/476 in the Westland Land Registration District owned by Martin O’Grady and Robert McGlone respectively. WS3A/476 is subject to a mortgage to Tom Knight dated 1 October 1894. The applicants claim to have been in continuous and undisputed possession of the land for 33 years.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted before 20 October 2023. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.
