Notice is given under section 161(1) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of the following application for a record of title based on adverse possession made under section 155 of the Act.

Application 11941338.1 by Reginald Albert Walker, Lena Hazel Walker, Brendon Kelly Walker, Justine Lee Walker and Brent James Stanley-Joblin, c/- Checketts McKay Law Limited, Attn: Linnet Julius, PO Box 41, Alexandra 9340 for land at 66 Monmouth Street, Hampden being 0.1008 and 0.1011 hectares, more or less, and being Lots 1 and 2 on LT 567945 respectively in Record of Title OT215/101 in the Otago Land Registration District owned by George Fleming Johnston. The applicants claim to have been in continuous and undisputed possession of the land for 20 years.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted before 16 October 2023. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.
