I hereby give notice under section 173(1) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 (“Act”) of an application lodged to bring land under the Act by virtue of adverse possession under section 172(1)(b) of the Act and issue a record of title to the below-named applicants.
Such record of title may be issued unless a caveat preventing it is lodged by person(s) as prescribed under section 174(1) of the Act on or before 13 June 2023.
The applicants are claiming on the grounds that they have had continuous possession of the land as part of their adjoining land at 38–40 Webb Street, Te Aro, Wellington for a period of more than 12 years.
Application 12451107.2 by Christopher John Leatham, Melinda Jessie Harper and BTC Trustees 2013 Limited, 2 Southleigh, Raumati South, Paraparaumu 5032 for an estate in fee simple in 3 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 4 on a plan lodged for deposit under LT 547246 in the Wellington Land District and being part Lot 7 Deeds Plan 28 which is part of the land remaining in Deeds Index Volume 12 Folio 574 which records the owner as being Margaret Dixon.
