Notice is given under section 161(1) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of the following application for a Record of Title based on adverse possession made under section 155 of the Act.

Application 12438551.1 by Philip Colin Payne, C/- Corcoran French, Lawyers, PO Box 13001, Christchurch 8141 for land at 140 Greenstone Road, Kumara being 506 square metres, more or less, and being Section 147 Reserve 128 Town of Kumara in Record of Title WS2D/1459 and 506 square metres, more or less, and being Subdivision 148 Arahura Survey District in Record of Title WS2D/1249 in the Westland Land Registration District owned by George Robert Rudkin. The applicant claims to have been in continuous and undisputed possession of the land for over 24 years.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted before 5 July 2023. If no caveats are lodged, the Record of Title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.
