1. Notice is hereby given that Wellington Regional Council (“Council”) confirms its intention under section 23(4)(b) of the Public Works Act 1981, to take the leasehold interest held by Hutt City Panel & Paint Limited (“lessee”) in the land described in the Schedule to this notice (“land”) being the land described in the Notice of Intention to Take dated 18 March 2022.

2. The Notice of Intention to Take was published in the New Zealand Gazette, 31 March 2022, Notice No. 2022-ln1140 and noted against Record of Title WN39D/312.

3. The lessee’s interest in the land has not yet been taken.

4. Following the serving of this Confirmation of Notice of Intention, a Proclamation taking the lessee’s interest in the land must be published in the New Zealand Gazette on or before two years after the date of such confirmation.
