A Proclamation

Pursuant to section 26 of the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Right Honourable Dame Cindy Kiro, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the leasehold interest held by Hutt City Panel & Paint Limited (“lessee”) pursuant to an unregistered lease dated 5 April 2016 with a final expiry date of 31 May 2037, in respect of the land described in the Schedule (“land”), to be taken for soil conservation and river control purposes and vested in Wellington Regional Council so that the lease merges in the reversion on 16 January 2024.

The land is located at 3/58 Pharazyn Street, Lower Hutt.
