Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minster for Land Information, Szi Ming Lee, Land Information New Zealand, declares that:

1. Pursuant to section 20, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for water treatment purposes and shall vest in the Waitaki District Council on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Pursuant to sections 20 and 28, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, easements in gross are acquired and shall vest in the Waitaki District Council on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette for:
1. A right of way over the portions of land described in the Second Schedule to this notice with the rights and powers of covenants implied and attaching in grants of vehicular rights of way as set out in Schedule 5 of the Land Transfer Regulations 2018, as if the same were fully set out herein; and
2. A right to convey water over the portions of land described in the Third Schedule to this notice with the rights and powers of covenants implied and attaching in grants of rights to convey water as set out in the Land Transfer Regulations 2018, as if the same were fully set out herein.
3. A right to drain sewage over the portions of land described in the Fourth Schedule to this notice with the rights and powers of covenants implied and attaching in grants of rights to drain sewage as set out in the Land Transfer Regulations 2018, as if the same were fully set out herein.
