Pursuant to section 16 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, Wellington Regional Council hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a local purpose (soil conservation and river control and esplanade) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
