“28°05.71′S, 175°47.41′W. Northern New Zealand. Extending from 90km offshore from Gisborne, at 3,600m deep, north-eastward for 1,300km to latitude 26°S. Separated from the Tonga Trench to the north by a 6,000m deep sill.”
with
“An undersea trench ranging in depth from 4,000m to 10,047m, extending from Ruatōria Scarp at -35.8099 latitude, -178.8575 longitude, northeastwards to -25.7823 latitude, -175.3645 longitude west of Osbourn Seamount.”
